So, if villainising me helps with your story,

I will, I will, with all my love, be the villain

Tell them I'm guilty of crimes I didn't commit

Let me be accused of rumours I didn't permit,

For my love for you escalates like the heat of Venus,

For your sake, Cara Mia, I force a smile, though unjust,


But only you and I will know the patience I held for you,
