Hugs of Thy

I say I do not wish to go to another camp,

But if fate grants me the chance to meet you again, my mate,

I shall come, I shall come to meet you again

For we could finish the unfinished convo,

For we could talk about things we forgot to,

We shall end the unspoken glances and talk our hearts out, thereafter

And compliment every moment of it,

And maybe drive ourselves crazy as we make a havoc of laughter,

And I shall say out every word so that regret finds no place when I return home

This time, I shall come less for the camp and more for the hugs of thy

So we shall do a lil more chitchat in the backseat,

And click more pictures and make more memories

For I shall tell my family when I return home,

That same frequencies do find their way, today or tomorrow

Cause us falling into the same group ain't no coincidence,

Cause forming this strong bond in just two days ain't no coincidence,

Cause now my tears shall be embraced with pure friendship, I won't hide 'em when I go

And with a deep breath as I turn to leave, I shall say, adios mi amigo

  1. The poem that you wrote resonates with the experience we all share when we want to camp in an environment of friendship/liking.
Or, I could say, the imperfection of the people around us creates a strong, soothing bond. And after those short moments of happiness end, we miss the moments you captured in your poem, and so on.
